[Opinions] Re: Lydia
in reply to a message by MelvinSpelvin
Lydia is my favorite name and has been since I was in my early teens (nearly twenty years ago). I think it's a beautiful, feminine, strong name. And it's one that fits a baby/girl/woman of any age wonderfully and fits any kind of girl or woman well - girly, tomboy, or anywhere in between.
I wouldn't classify it as an old lady name, but I wouldn't care if I did consider it that and don't care if other people do. I don't consider a name being "old lady" or "old man" a bad thing.
My favorite combo with it is Lydia Hesper. I also especially love Lydia Rosemary, Lydia Josephine, Lydia Margaret, Lydia Marigold, and Lydia Catherine/Katherine.
These are also nice...
Lydia Camille
Lydia Caroline
Lydia Catrin/Katrin
Lydia Charlotte
Lydia Clare
Lydia Corisande
Lydia Faye
Lydia Frances
Lydia Helene
Lydia Jane
Lydia Jessamine
Lydia June
Lydia Juniper
Lydia Margalit
Lydia Marguerite
Lydia Martine
Lydia Maxine
Lydia Melisande
Lydia Pearl
Lydia Peony
Lydia Rosalie
Lydia Rosanne
Lydia Rosemonde
Lydia Ruby
Lydia Tamsin
Lydia Tatienne
Lydia Violet
Lydia Virginie
