1. List you favorite spellings of KATE-lynn. Your favorite spelling first then the second favorite etc. List at least 5. You can list as many as you want. If you pronounce Caitlin as KAHT-leen and not as KATE-lynn like I do include it but tell me that you pronounce it differently.KATELYN
Kaitlyn
Katelynn
Kaitlynn
Caitlin2. Do you think that Khloe looks better than Chloe ? Does it look more authentic, in your opinion ? I had several people tell me that.I think Chloe looks better. Khloe looks like someone is trying to be different and just looking wrong3. List you favorite spellings of Michaela. At least 5. If you pronounce some differently (e.g. Mikaela as MEE-ka-ay-la) let me know.MICHAELA
Makayla
Mikayla
Mikaela
Makaela4. List you favorite spellings of Hayley. Also at least 5.HALEY
HAYLEY
Hailey
Haylee
Haylie5. Do you prefer -ette or -et endings ? (e.g. Juliet/Juliette, Violet/Violette). Are there some exceptions (e.g. you usually dislike -ette endings but Juliette is fine etc) ? How about -bel/-belle endings ?I usually prefer the simpler -et or -bel endings. The exception is that I prefer Isabelle to Isabel because it looks more complete.6. Do you pronounce -line as "leen", "lynn" or "line" ? Are there some exceptions (e.g. Caroline is "line" but Emmeline is "leen" ?)...how do you pronounce Emmeline, Rosaline, Evangeline, Caroline. Also "lina" endings. Is Carolina pr. Caro-leena or Caro-lina etc ?-lina is usually lee-na, sometimes I say care-oh-LIE-na, but only because I'm from the Southeastern US. -line is almost always LIEN, Angeline, Celestine, and Seraphine are exceptions.7. If you had to use an alternate spelling of your favorite boy/girl names which one would you choose ?Jaycob (Jacob)
Katharine (Katherine)8. How would you spell Kaia ? Kaya, Kaia, Kya etc ? How would you spell Maya ?I spell them Kaya and Maya, but Kaia and Maia are tolerable9. May, Mei or Mae ? Why ?May because Mei is a different name and isn't pronounced exactly the same and Mae bothers me.10. Are there any names you pronounce differently from anybody else ? Are there any names where you actually prefer to use an alternate spelling ? Is there any really creative spelling you like ?Rosaline is "ROHZ-uh-lien"I prefer Nathanael to Nathaniel though I also say it nuh-than-AY-el.
