I was just thinking about it, how it had a sort of snappy sound and look about it.

I think that it would be really effective as a middle name. Think instead of Egypt Lenore: Lenore Egypt. Think of how cool that is.

It's not my style, but I wouldn't mind meeting one. I like that it's obscure. If you can name your kid India or America, why not Egypt? I only like it on a girl, though, I feel like girls can carry off obscure names easier.
I'm really interested in Ancient Egypt, so maybe I'm biased.

I like it. It has a certain panache.

The trick would be finding a mn that fits the exotic style, but isn't so different that the combo comes off as "trying too hard." Have you considered any?

I think I might rather use it for a character. I didn't really think about middle names yet, but yes it should be something simple. Maybe Egypt Lenore or Egypt Annabel, Egypt Laura, Egypt Maria something like that.

Egypt Lenore is great. French names were what I was thinking of myself. Egypt Maria is rather catchy too. May I try?

Oh thanks!!!! I love Egypt Delphine it's so pretty! I like Egypt Camille, Egypt Celeste, Egypt Aurora, Egypt Isidora (the meaning is pretty cool), Egypt Sophia, Egypt Paloma, Egypt Tamar (Tamar is one of my favorite names), Egypt Miriam (love this as well), Egypt Livia, Egypt Aurelia, Egypt Isabel and Egypt Maia.

When I hear Egypt Maia I think of hot chocolate and chili powder. I'm weird :P i also think of mashed potatoes when I hear Emmeline Pearl.

Heh, I like it, too. More for a girl, but for a boy as well. I love how exotic it sounds. It's a definite gp of mine.

Not the worst place name I've ever heard by far. It's not bad. Wouldn't be my first choice but if it was my name I think I could live w/ it w/o too much issue.
