Pronounced Ahm-sahl-ah I love this name but have found no other meaning besides the fact that it is the Ethiopian designer of wedding gowns. Thoughts? Opinions? DH will NOT let me use names that have no "meaning" although I think naming someone after an artist is meaning enough...

Im sure it may have a meaning. Ask for the meaning on the Name Facts board. Someone over there might know. Or know of a related name that it may have derived from.
