Aithra ("AY-thruh") does have a pretty sound to it. My eyes are more comfortable / familiar with Aethra, but I would pronounce that a little differently, "EH-thruh." The trick is to find a mn that doesn't scare people and / or clues them into the gender. An exotic name that's known, but not too common either.
