It's my name but I've only recently come to appreciate it. I can't see it becoming popular.
I personally hate the name Mary and am not keen on Rosie either although some people do call me Rosie. I generally get called Ro (my fave nickname) or Rose. A girl at school called Rosemary went by the nickname Romy with her family.
I don't like Mary Rose. I just think of Henry VIII's warship.
