[Opinions] Michala
This is my name and I have never seen it spelled like this. What do you guys think?

How do you pronounce it? I really love it pronounced mi-KA-la. There's an Aussie/New Zealand actress/singer called Michala Banas (prn the way I do), which is where I heard it first.
That's how I pronounce it. Some people think it look's like mi-cha-la, and i told them that they were wierd.
I'm assuming it's supposed to be like Michaela, but I'd pronounce it mih-KAL-ah. I think Michaela is an alright name, but all the ridiculous spellings are, well, ridiculous. Michala is at least only one letter away from the original though.
It's pronounced Mi-kay-la, I think that the e in Michaela looks a little off, but that's probably because I spell it different. that name is getting a little out of hand though.
You've never seen your own name spelled out?
Uhh. Honestly, I dislike all names related to Michaela, and this one doesn't make much phonetic sense to me. I want to say mik-CALL-uh, not mi-KAY-la.

Thanks for being honest, I've never quite understood the whole spelling thing either. the bad thing is that I try to look up the meaning but I can't figure out which spelling I should go by. I think that I should go by Michal because that is the closest thing to it except for Michaela, which means 'who is like God?' but I think that it has to have 'el' to mean that.
