1. I'd pronounce it TAL-ee-ə. Or maybe TAL-yə. I can't tell how many syllables it has. I think I might like THAL-yə best. Saying it with a hard T makes me think of talons.

3. I don't know... you asked about Thalia. Those names wouldn't all be pronounced the same to me. I think Thalia looks the nicest.

5. No, not if you really love it. It doesn't look complicated, so it shouldn't scare people, but I'm sure a Thalia would have to tell people how to pronounce her name. I don't think she'd get many more pronunciation attempts than TAL-ee-ə/yə or THAL-ee-ə/yə.
