[Opinions] wdyt of Eleanora?
I like Eleanor but not how it sounds with an American accent. Eleanora solves that problem. Does it sound stodgy? It has great nickname possibilities Ella, Nellie, Nora. What do you think?Eva Marie

I like it, but I prefer the spelling Eleonora.

I love Eleanora more than Eleanor. Eleanora has a more elegant flow than Eleanor. It's not stodgy in the least! Harumph. I put Eleanora in the same category as Theodora, Alexandra and Victoria -- names for queens or great ladies.I love Ellie, Nellie / Nell and Nora as nns.

I like EleOnora but Eleanora sounds wrong to me.

Normally I'd say it's an unnecessary extra 'a', but if you feel it's necessary then go for it.

I think Eleanora is a great name, and works better in the US than Eleanor. I knew an Eleanora growing up who went by Ellie and I always thought it worked well.

I think Eleanora is a beautiful name. I really like Nora as a nickname for it.
