No way. Not only is it really pwetty-pwetty-pwincess to me, but it sounds incredibly shrill to my ears. I have a bad association, too, but obviously that doesn't help you.

I'd suggest Clarice instead.

I like Cherise better... Clarice is a little close to Clarence for my liking, but everyone's entitled to their own opinions...
