...from my view, I say, Hey, Pete and Ashlee. Let's give YOU ridiculous non-names and see how YOU enjoy going through life with them. Ashlee, you are no longer "Ashlee," but "Brainwave Lunchbag." Pete, you will now be known as "Pumpernickel Slinky."

I don't disagree with the sentiment that celebrity parents should treat their kids' names more seriously, and I don't like Bronx Mowgli as a name much, but I don't think Bronx Mowgli is anywhere near as absurd as Brainwave Lunchbag or whatever. It's not like place names are uncommon, and Mowgli is at least the name of a fictional character, not a random object (plus, it looks like it's just the MN).
I'd kind of love to see someone named Pumpernickel, though. Just because it's fun to say. *g*
