[Opinions] Pronounciation of "Kaede"
How would you pronounce Kaede, if you saw it written down in an english speaking country?

Regardless of where I see it, I pronounce it Kai-day (to rhyme with Friday), but that's because I speak Jpns. and am aware that it's Jpns... Other people would do things differently...
If you're thinking in terms of using it as a name, I do think it's a good one... esp. with Dominic if it's a boy or Dominga or Dominique if it's a girl.

kai-ay-dee
I had a friend (Japan-ophile) who liked to be called this. For that reason I'd expect the bearer to be female.

Kade (one syllable, long A).
I'd also assume it was a boy.

That's so weird. I actually know someone named Kaede. She pronounces it KAY-dee.
kah-EH-deh, but I took Japanese so...
Probably KAY-dee.

Or something like that, it's hard to write down exactly how I say it. I know that's not exactly right, but, well, that's how they pronounced it in Inuyasha, which I used to watch religiously years ago. :P

KAYD. I would assume it was a variant of Cade or Caden or something like that.
My first instinct was to say "CAYD", but looking at it again it might be "CAY-dee". But no, I think I'd say it in one syllable.
