[Opinions] Lars
I am finding this attractive lately. Not so much Larrrzzzz. I am saying it with kind of a fake accent where it is more like Larse but not quite. I think it is more a psychological thing.I find lots of names with "ar" in them attractive I think. Ivar is one I'm into lately too. And Karl. But mainly Lars, as a form of Laurence. I am digging Rudolf Lars, but it is bad with Hugo and Hughes and I do not want to drop either of those.

How about Laurence "Lars"? I really like Laurence "Laurie", but this would be interesting, too.Lars sounds very Nordic-Swedish-Norvegian to me. To this cathegory belong names like Nils and Sven. It is not a bad image, just very simple and...farmerish. :D (I know most of people would say the same thing about Finnish names like Matti, Antti and Juha. They wouldn't be wrong :D) And for some reason I really dislike last names made out of these names: Larsson, Johansson, Svensson. Maybe that's because I like -son in any names, overall. Rudolf Lars = a handsome combo.

I have a friend name Lars. I think it works. It's nice and he is a cute young man.

I like Lars with it's proper pronunciation... The one you have there would be brutal if people decided to tease the boy by dropping the L.

Nooo!I'm sorry but I just can't stand it. I've never met any good looking Lars, neither one who can dress (and I'm not picky).
Lars is a fat, old guy for me. Sorry. But I like Karl, even though I prefer Carl. Carl Laurence or Carl Rudolf would be fine :) Maybe you like Larssa? Edit: Lars is Sweden's second most popular name (not on babies) and what has probably affected me. So in the US or such, I can understand if the name sound "exotic" and "new" while it sounds old, dated and boring for me. Like James sounds exotic and fresh to me, and deadly boring for some Americans. :)

I like it. It's not one of my favourites, but it is pretty nice. I've known a few Larses, two went to school with me, and they were all pretty much idiots, so that may taint my opinion a bit.

I like the combo Rudolf Lars. I have only heard Lars used in films like "Lars and the Real Girl" last year. It's definitely different, but not in a bad way! I think it could work with Hughes.
