[Opinions] Patience
What do you think of Patience? I've recently fallen in love with it...but what do you guys think? Can you think of any nicknames? (I've only been able to think of Patty/Pat)

Love it. I don't think it needs a nickname.

I've always liked Patience. I think it's sweet and soft. Nicknames...hmm...Pay, Ennie, Pati, Paige, but that's probably a stretch.

I like it on a boy, GP

I really like this name. It does have a pretty sound to it. Pae is one nickname that could be used for it

I used to LOVE this name when I was younger, and although it is still one of my favourite virtue names, it's too GP for me. I think there are far too many areas for teasing and I can't think of any nn's that are to my liking.

Pretty in theoryBut I use this word a lot. I could imagine it becoming very, very tired if I had a little girl by the name too. I'm not bothered by the "patiene is virtue" or "have some patience, Patience" issues, I could just see myself falling out of love with the name very quickly.Pattie is cute but I don't think I could shorten it to anything satisfactory.

It's a bit of guilty pleasure for me. I doubt I'd use it but it has its charm. Possible nns that aren't Pat/Patty would be Titi, Tience, Tien.

I love Patience. The sound of it sparkles. It's one of my favorite virtue names. If only I had some patience myself . . . .A nns that I've kicked around: Pax. That is, until the Jolie-Pitts used it. Now I worry about looking like a wannabe. I hate that. Patience Griselda (if you know the story)
Patience Lydia
Patience Callista
Patience Elizabeth
Patience Abigail
Patience Matilda
Patience Annabel
Patience Finola
Patience Eileen
Patience Isabelle
Patience Carys
Patience Adele
Patience Letitia
Patience Lavinia
Patience Elena
Patience Ottoline ("OT-uh-leen")
Patience Miranda
Patience Olivia Not an easy name to combine. I kept hearing "patient _____" or "Have patience, _______." This might be one of those times when a filler mn like Marie, Anne or Elizabeth actually works to your benefit.
