I can't believe people used to name their SONS Agnes, Alice, Alma, Annie, Claire, Cora, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Eva, Gertrude, Ivy, and Nora. I hope these were mistakes. But I'm pleasantly surprised to see that people used to use nice names like Octavia and Zenobia.

The SSA list is created by people
And I think they started in 1920, so records from before that are rather iffy. There may have been some boys with those names, but many of those were probably mistakes too.
Names like "Unknown", "Baby Boy" and "Infant" also make the list because of those mistakes.
