I think it needs a full name.

It' nice, but the problem I have with it is that techincally it's a nickname. But it's an adorable nn for Maria, for instance.

I like it as a nn for Maria (that's how my friend uses it).

makes me think of the Monster Mash or Mashed potatoes.

nn, needs more substance as fn.

Don't really like it.

I like it better spelt Mascha, but yeah, it's pretty nice. Though it reminds me of some old Russian woman wearing a headscarf (?) and sitting in front of an oven somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

Mashed potatoes-not the best thing to think about.
