[Opinions] Re: Alicia

How do you pronounce it?
Ah-LIS-ee-uh
Do you prefer Alice over Alicia? (I like both names and can't decide)
I think Alicia is pretty trashy (no offense to anyone) and Alice is lovely, simple and beautiful. So I prefer Alice.
Do you know anyone named Alicia or variant (Alisha etc)? How old are they, how do they spell it and do you happen to know any middle names?
I know one Alicia, spelled that way. She's 17 and I'm sure her middle name is Elisabeth. I know of 4 others who are all quite young, two spell it Alicia, one Alisha and one Alesha.
What is your favorite spelling of Alicia?
Probably Alicia, even though I don't like the name.
Do you think it's still too common? Is it dated to the 80s like Amanda? (in a slightly dated kind of way...the way Amanda and Rebecca seem dated not the way Courtney and Tiffany do....if you get what I mean)? Do you think it is still common if you combine all the spellings? Do you know any babies or young girls named Alicia?
I don't think its common or dated but I do think it's quite popular with all the combined spellings, I know of 4 young Alicia's, Alisha's and Alesha's (Two spell it Alicia)
Do you understand why Alicia is way out of the top 100 yet Alyssa is still up there? I never really got it. Do you prefer Alyssa over Alicia?
I think Alyssa is a nicer name, it sounds a lot softer and prettier than Alicia. I'd prefer Alissa though.
Do you like Al or Ali or Lisha as a nn? I prefer no nn at all.
I don't like any nickname.
Do you think Estella, Adelaida nn Ada and Alicia are a good sibset? Are Ada and Alicia, Adelaida and Alicia too close to each other (ah-LEE-see-ah, ad-eh-LAY-da)?
They make an okay sibset, Estella and Adelaida nn Ada are nice enough without Alicia, but if you want to use it then it's nice. I prefer Adelaide to Adelaida. No, I don't think Alicia is too close to Adelaida.
