Just wondering if I could get away with pronouncing it ah-LEE-see-uh? It's how Alicia Silverstone pronounces hers and I guess people never really got it, considering that she is only known as eh-LISH-uh Silverstone here.
That prn that you like is actually the spanish language prn of the name, so spelt the way you prefer, its still a valid option.
How do you pronounce it?
I prn it Uh Lee Shah.
Do you prefer Alice over Alicia? (I like both names and can't decide)
I like Alice better.
Do you know anyone named Alicia or variant (Alisha etc)? How old are they, how do they spell it and do you happen to know any middle names?
My mother and a friend of mine are both Alicias, prn'd the way i show it above, spelt the same way, and weirdly enough, same MN of Anne

(in a slightly dated kind of way...the way Amanda and Rebecca seem dated not the way Courtney and Tiffany do....if you get what I mean)? Do you think it is still common if you combine all the spellings? Do you know any babies or young girls named Alicia?
I don't think its a dated name. I actually think it fits in the same category that mine (Colleen) does, where most people have met or know one, but its not a name you really encounter often.
Do you understand why Alicia is way out of the top 100 yet Alyssa is still up there? I never really got it. Do you prefer Alyssa over Alicia?
I'd think because most people consider it an Alice variant, and Alice is not really terribly popular.
Alicia is better than Alyssa to me, its got more, I don't rightly know how to explain it

I do think that the vowely sounds are close together, but they're fine otherwise.
