It's nothing I would ever use but it's not terrible.I'm a HUGE fan of Jorma Taccone so I associate it with him.

I really like it. I am trying to remember if I met someone with the name while I was in Finland or not. I feel like I did. Hmmm...

I like it. It's quirky. It would get horribly mispronunced far too often, though.

I thin it's ugly. It sounds too much like Norma.

Jorma doesn't appeal to me, sorry. But I love Jeremiah, so warm and sugary and gooey.

I kind of like it. The fact that it's a form of Jeremiah makes me like it even more.

I assume it's pronounced YOR-mah?! I don't really like it. It seems so feminine, though I guess that would be different if you live in Finland. Anywhere else, it would probably also cause problems with pronunciation.

Oh, hm.. I was pronouncing it with a "J" but the "Y" makes more sense now that I think about it.

In spite of the original Finnish pronunciation, I would bet that the biggest number of Americans who have heard of this name know it because of the Weather Channel reporter Jorma Duran, and they always pronounce his first name with the English J- on that TV network:http://www.weather.com/tv/personalities/Jorma-Duran.html

It is pronounced YOR-ma in Finnish. You can listen to it here:http://www.sci.fi/~kajun/finns/male.htm

It does make sense to pronounce it YOR-ma, but it being a form of Jeremiah makes me think it is pronounced JOR-ma.
