[Facts] Totally different name!!!!!
My son and his wife just had a baby boy which is my very first grandson. They named their son Kaysideon which is a very unusual name.
His mother in law went to Mexico. There was a Mexican food I think its called Kaysidia so they changed the name around a bit and came up with Kaysideon. Has anyone ever heard of that name. I kind of like that name.

More food for thought...The name "Buffet" makes a charming French version of "Buffy", doncha think?-- Nanaea

It just struck me we're actually talking about a "quesadilla" here! Up to this point I kept thinking of the original as being pronounced "kay-SID-i-a", which sounds like something you get from drinking the water in Ciudad Acuna (the butt-ugly shooting locale of the movie "Desperado").Since the prounciation is like "quesadilla", perhaps a nice Mexi-Sexi name for the next child would be "quesadiclap".

Your first grandson is named after a quesidia? Oh man... If your son and his wife ever have a daughter, I sure hope they don't let the mother-in-law name her "Tacobelle".You have my condolences, pal.-- Nanaea

NanaeaIt's spelled quesadilla (the double-l pronounced like a y in the States).
Perhaps you should see Daividh's second response to get the correct spelling.Phyllis

Never having had a lesson in Spanish, I was spelling it the way I'd heard it pronounced. Those "double hockeysticks" (as in H. E. Double-Hockeystick) will getcha every time! ;)-- Nanaea
