What do you think of Mila (MEE-la) for a girl?

Do you think it's too short or nickname-ish and should only be used as a nickname for Milena?

Do you know anyone named Mila? Do you think it'll get more common or stay underused?

Do you prefer Milena, nn Mila or just Mila?

I like Mila and it's on my list
it sounds a bit nickname but a lot names does
I dislike Milena! Mila is beautiful.

I think Mila is fine on its own. I like it. I'm not sure if it will stay underused or not, only time will tell.

I love Mila. I prefer it as as nickname for Milena but I think it works well alone too.

I've always really liked this name; I think it's beautiful and fine on it's own, but would also be a great nn for Milena. Whichever you prefer.

I really like it.

I hadn't given it any thought really before now, but it's quite plesant. I don't think it's too short or nicknamey, or needs a fuller name. I'd go for just Mila. As for becoming common... I don't think it's in too terrible danger of that. :)

I loooove Milena, btw.

Mila

I really love the name Mila and would consider naming my child it, and I also too have wondered if it could be used on its own!The only thing I'm worried about is people mispronouncing it MYLA...

I think Mila would be fine on its own. I like Milena too but Mila is lovely.

I know a Miljana who had Mila as a nickname, but goes by Ljana more commonly now. I still call her Mila though because it is gorgeous. :)
