Sorry for the confuzzelation. What I meant was that although I could access the surnames site, I put the two names in the search box, and they were not in the data base. I needed an account to post a message on the board, asking people about the names' nationalities. Thanks for the Armenian Church link.

You neede a website to find out the origins of names ending with -ian? That`s kinda scary.

This site has some surnames:
http://wiki.name.com/en/All_About_NamesI agree those names are Armenian -- perhaps from Turkish...
