[Opinions] Clemency
heard this name for the first time the other day and think I really like it. What do you guys think and what are some other names (for a sibset) that would compliment it?

I rather recently developed a fondness for both Clemence and Clemency -- I currently prefer Clemence.

Clemence, the French feminine form of Clement, is gorgeous. I like either the original French pronunciation, "clay-MAHNS," or the English, "CLEM-ens." Clemency, on the other hand, conjurs up visions of felons awaiting parole, or asking for pardons. The "Clemency Board" association is too strong for me to like Clemency as a name.

I like how it's pretty, but in a totally unconventional name. I'm a huge fan of Clémence, so that probably has something to do with Clemency's appeal. As for sib names, how about Eloise, Melicent, Peronel, Beatrix, Guinevere, Peter, Frederick, Hadrian, or Leofric?

LeofricWow -- I've never heard of Leofric before. Great name. I'm stealing it. :-)
