WDYT of Valentine for a boy's first name? It's really growing on me since I found a boy named that recently. I usually only like it as a middle name though I think it makes a handsome first name.

WDYT for a girl possibly as well? I love the NNs Val or Tyne.

ETA: this had nothing to do with names but The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh is one of the cutest movies I've ever seen. I know that was really random, but I just had to say that I've loved it since a kid, lol.

It makes me think of "My Funny Valentine" and so forth, but it's not a bad name as such. And I adore Val, though more for boys.

i really love Valentine for a boy, especially with nn Val. i think it would sound a little strange on a girl. id be expecting Valentina, but Valentine wouldnt be terrible.

I love Valentine. Very handsome. I don't like it on a girl, though. It seems way to masculine, but I love Valentina.

I really like the nn Val, but I don't care for Tyne. It just doesn't give off the same type of vibe that Valentine with the nn Val does. =/

I like Valentine for a boy. I think it could definitely work for either sex, though I prefer Valentina for a girl myself (I like feminine embellishments for girls! I'm just very girly lol).

I'm not sure I like any of the obvious nicknames, though I guess you could use Tina for Valentina, which is quite cute. Oh, and Lennie for either.

I love Valentine. It's been a favourite for a boy for years.

I also like the nickname Val.

I don't like it on a girl at all. It's so... masculine to me. I really, really like Valentina on a girl, though.

My half-brother bears the name Valentine, and both my father and my paternal grandfather bear the name Valentino.

I prefer Valentino.

I like Valentine for a boy. For a girl I prefer Valentina. It's weird I like the name Valentine because I hate the holiday (OT probably because I don't have a boyfriend lol)
