We had a dog and a cow named Daisy (we had the dog first) and my friend named her cat Daisy. I love the name, but then again I do see it as being a pet name and it's hard to see it on a child. Plus, I've never met a person named Daisy. It MIGHT rise in popularity, but it's already pretty popular though it does look like it's falling (http://www.behindthename.com/top/search.php?terms=daisy). You could always use it as a MN if you want to.
