Reminds me of Lakshmi Singh from NPR. She just pronounces it LACK-shmee, exactly how it looks.

It's a lot of sounds in one name for me. I don't care for it.

I like the name. It's very exotic and flowery to me. Doesn't hurt that I like the Goddess Lakshmi.
