It's not the Gwyn part that gets me, it's the Eira part. I use to pronounce it gwin-eer-ah, but now I am not so sure about that. Is it Gwin-ay-ra? Gwin-eye-ra? Gwin-eer-ah? Also, even if it's incorrect, which one of those pronunciations do you like best for it? I would greatly appreciate it if you answered both of my questions. Thanks! :)

I would say -eer-ah.

gwen-IE-ra makes the most sense to me because it's Gwyn + Eira. So that's how I'd say it. I think that sounds the best too. I also don't think you should ever pronounce something differently than the way it's supposed to be pronounced, although some names have multiple pronunciations.

I actually have no clue how to pronounce it correctly, but I would prn. it gwin-eer-ah, which is my preference. gwin-ay-ra doesn't look right, but my guess, before I read your post, was that gwin-eer-ah or gwin-eye-rah are the correct prn.

I've always pronounced it gwi-NE-rah and I like it best that way. Out of your pronunciations, I like gwin-AY-ra best.

I've been saying 'gwin-EER-ah' in my head, but I think it might be 'gwin-EYE-rah'.
