Still deciding between Reed Joseph and Andrew Joseph (or another J in the middle).

If we go with Andrew... nicknames?

Call him Andrew
Call him Andy (not my favorite)
Call him Drew (not too sure about this)
Call him A.J.? (too Sopranos?!)

seriously. I hate AJ, and Andy. if you want to call him Drew, then name him Drew. not Andrew. Andrew is a nice name, it's a bit overdone. but I like it anyway.

Reed is nice, but I think I prefer the spelling Reid. and I would like James better than Joseph.

If I ever named a kid Andrew, I wouldn't actually call him that...

Cuz I don't really like the name Andrew much, BUT I really like Drew. Andy isn't too shabby either. AJ would be my second choice behind Drew.

Well... I'm actually quite a fan of Andy. Drew as a close second.
But that's only nickname-wise, I think Andrew's perfectly fine without giving in to a nickname.

Please just call them Andrew. I hate when I name like that is wasted when go about calling them Andy and AJ. Those are just not cute. I really like the name Andrew Joseph though.

Andrew doesn't need a nickname and I think I actually should get mad if I med an Andrew going by Andy or Drew :P Not only because the nicknames are ugly but also because Andrew is a short and simple name and doesn't need to be shorten down. AJ is okey but not as nice as just Andrew!

Second that

I really loathe people who think classic names need a nickname, especially if they are short enough. Andrew is not any shorter than Andy, which is acceptable but I would much rather hear Andrew. You see Andrew high on popularity charts, but how many of them are actually called Andrew?
