[Opinions] Huh, Swedish spelling? =P (m)
in reply to a message by Malin
Never seen it before, never heard it, and never want to see it again :P Looks like someone who couldn't stranslate Benjamin to the right name. I didn't think of min ja min, but that's probably because I never say it, not at the same time. It also makes me think of Mio min Mio. I prefer Minjamin, since Miniamin makes me think of mint. But Benjamin,Minjamin and Miniamin makes me also think of stove(=braskamin).

Enligt Bibeln ja ;)
Since it's Biblical, it has a Swedish spelling, even though there's just one Swede with this name... "Min ja min" was my first thought, but I thought of Mio min Mio too - I was actually looking for a full name for Mio. ;) (Hehee, braskamin...)

Well, I don't trust the bible. ;) It would be great to have a full name for Mio. It's cute and such but I prefer it as a nickname, but sadly I haven't found any name that could be a full name for it. Yet. Miomin maybe? ;) But that sounds like idomin =P
Miomir is pretty cute :)
I don't prn it with an "ee" sound, and sadly I don't likt any of the names either...but thanks for trying though!
...then how do you pronounce it?
"ee" is like a Swedish long i, right?

*headdesk*
I didn't think that far :P I prn it Miiio in Swedish, so it's probably Mee-o or something in english.

Yep, that's how it's pronounced, with a long 'ee' sound:-)
Same here :( And Miomin sounds like Mumin :P
I checked Namnarkivet (http://www.kanalen.org/namnarkivet), but I didn't find anything better than Milian...
