If Mio is pronounced with an 'ee' sound, then it's a nn for Miroslav, Miomir, Mario, etc. in Croatia.

"ee" is like a Swedish long i, right?

I didn't think that far :P I prn it Miiio in Swedish, so it's probably Mee-o or something in english.

Yep, that's how it's pronounced, with a long 'ee' sound:-)
