Because Kaia is too strange and I don't like it, and Gaia sounds like guy-a so it's a guys' name to me.

I pronounce it more like GAH-ya, not GUY-ah

Yet it still reminds me of someone saying "GAH!" Like they are mad and if you were to pronounce it GAY-a, it has Gay in it. So, Guy, Gay, and Gah. Not very good, either way you put it.
