Excuse my caps, but I thought I was geeky for sekritly thinking that. Unfortunately, neither of our last names start with 'E'. :( And the Flemish/Dutch pronunciation of Rachel is so pretty. *sigh* The whole combo is so pretty. And all those lovely connotations is exactly why I love it so. The L jumps out at me and I think that's why I slightly prefer Leonoor over Eleonoor.
Leonoor is being pronounced 'leh-ah-NORRR' (rolling R).
Ooooo, you brought up Irene...that one is spectacular. I really, REALLY like that name. I mean, I like most of the names you've suggested (Zlata! Mathilde! Celeste!), but Irene... *puts it on the list*
