I heard the name Calendula on a girl. WDYT? Does it work as a name or should it be left as the name of a flower?

It's ok, but it sounds like a vampire calender...

I personally love Calendula in my lotion, yummy. But maybe not the easiest name to live with.

I'd leave it as a flower name... to kids who don't know flower names (and maybe even to some adults unfamiliar to flower names), it may sound a bit like calendar and get messed up by some people.

I've never heard of the flower actually. It's a rather comical sounding name. Sounds like a vampire or something. No good.
