It just makes me think of the Fabian Society ... Ideastic socialists, normally quite well-off. I've nothing against socialism but it seems a strange connotation in a child's name.I don't think Aubrey and Fabian go together at all. Aubrey is earthy and unpretentious, whereas Fabian is so regal sounding, almost like a title instead of a name._____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Yeehaw!" is not a foreign policy!

I like the name Fabian.Aubrey Maximilian Stewart - I don't really care for any of the names in this combo but overall it has a nice flow.
Fabian Lucius Edward or Fabian Lucius Noble - Definitely prefer Fabian Lucius Edward. "B" is an explosive sound and I don't like it being used overly much. However, your last anem might balance that out.(Stewart, Edward & Noble are family names)Possible siblings:
Emeric Anton - I like both these names just not necessarily together.
Phineas Griffin - sorry, this one doesn't do anything for me. I like Phineas Emeric better.
Atticus Shiloh - I kinda like it. I say kinda because I knew this really weird guy named Shiloh and I think of him whenever I see the name.
Bartholomew Arkady - I think I prefer Bartholomew Griffin. The combos all go together well as sibs.

All I can think of is Fabian Basabe from Filthy Rich Cattle Drive and he is such a pretentious jerk. Then I think of Fabian from the romance novels. I don't know which is worse. To me, that name is ruined. I love Christian for a first name and it goes well with Aubrey.

I think Fabian sounds good in English. Fabian Lucius Edward is really nice. I also like Emeric, Phineas and Atticus. But Bartholomew is too much of a mouthful imo, and I don't like Bart.In Sweden, many people think of "Fy Fabian", an expression in an Astrid Lindgren book. "Fy Fabian" was a childfriendly version of the common curse "Fy fan" (fan = devil)."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

Fabian is really nice. I love it because of the book White Eagle Dark Skies.__________________________________________________
