[Opinions] Cayley?
argh I know, so trendy but I kind of like it with a C. Same with Caitlin, I really like Caitlin, Catelin, Catelyn and Cateline.
So what do you think of Cayley? How many Kaylees do you know and how do they spell it?
What is your favorite spelling? Can you list your top 8 spellings in order? Even if you don't like 8, just tell me which one you dislike least.
Would Caley cause pronunciation problems (KAL-lee or KAY-lee?)
Mine:
Cayley
Caley
Kayley
Kaley
Caylee
Cailey
Kaylee
Kailey

With a C = Caylee Anthony.
That's all I can think of when I see Kayley spelled with any C. I do agree that it's more optically pleasing than Kayley, though.
The sound of the name isn't bad, but I strongly dislike it. It doesn't have any substance whatsoever. It's just two throw-away baby-babble sounds that are cutesy-wutesy and will likely end up being the next Ethel, Susan, Linda, Tiffany, etc.
I know many, many Kayleys. I'm in the 11th grade and there are tons in my school.
The ones that I know the spelling of are:
Kaylie
Kaleigh
Kailie
Kaylee
Caley shouldn't cause pronunciation problems, but people are really ignorant about stuff like that so I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
If I had to give you my top 8 spellings for Kayley they would be:
Caylee
Kaylee
Kayley
Kaylie
Caylie
Cailey
Kailey
Kaley
Caley

I know it's trendy and all, but I do actually quite like the name! I only like the spellings Kaylee and Kayley though.
I love Cayley, but prefer it spelled Kaylee.
Oh, I like it
It's nice to see some names like that spelt with a "C" ;)
I also like Kaylee and Kayleigh a lot too.

Kayleigh is actually my ultimate GP
:)
:)
I really dont like Cayley spelled anyway, but I think it's okay as a nickname for something else, Caitlin perhaps, since you mentioned that you like it.
I have a niece named Caleigh (argh, she's 5) and I know a college age girl named Kayley. I also know a Cailin, plenty of Caitlins and a male Kalen.
I guess the best spellings are:
Cayley
Cailey
Caley
Caylee

I do think it's cute, but prefer Bailey and Haley because I like theat they're totally legit. I only know two they are Cayli and Kaylie.
My top eight spellings, I only like it spelt Kaylee or Kaylie and which I prefer depends on my mood.

I think it's awful. Don't. Do. It.
I don't really like Cayley, because as you said it's a very trendy name. However, here are my spelling preferences in order from best to worst:
1. Kaley
2. Kaylee
3. Caley
4. Kayley
5. Cayley
I don't think spelling it Caley would cause a lot of confusion. Mostly people spell the name Callie if they intend for it to be pronounced KAL-lee.
