I was working a shift at another branch of the shop I'm employed at, and I found the name tag of another employee who worked there in a drawer. Her name, I knew, was Kaylee, but they had misspelled it (hugely) as "Kalayla". I looked at it for a minute, and decided I kinda liked it; at least, more than Kaylee. There was something very exotic and far-East mysterious about. I thought it would be a great name for a darkly beautiful character in a book.
