[Opinions] Coraline
Okay there's that new movie coming out called Coraline. I think that is a really cute name.

As homage to the great Neil Gaiman. . .
. . . my five year old daughter's middle name is Coraline. I love him, I love the book.

I can't help but think of the actual substance of coralline when I hear the name. It's a type of algae http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coralline_algae
However I'm not a big fan of the whole Coral/Cora/Carol/Caroline type of names, so maybe I'm biased.

I love it - especially with the nickname Cora or Coralie - but I prefer Caroline, just for tradition's sake. Still, Coraline doesn't sound awfully tacky like invented names sometimes do, but people would probably associate the name with the character/movie/book.
It's not just a movie, it was a book first.
I prefer Coraline to Caroline, but really, I don't care for -line at all. I like Caro.

I like it too. Much more than Caroline / Caralyn. Ever since I saw that preview I thought it was a cute name.
