[Opinions] Re: How do you pronounce
in reply to a message by Lily8
Madeleine and Madeline, I pronounce the same; to rhyme with "shine"Emmeline and Caroline rhyme with shine, but Evangeline ends in "een" for me.Erin and Aaron sound the same, but Ember and Amber are slightly different. Amber has a distinct "Ah" at the beginning. Ember sound differently because of the way you are stretching your lips - almost like a smile, as you would when you start to say "every".Arielle, if consciously said the French way, is pronounced "ahr-ee-YELL" for me. Ariel is said like "aerial" as in "aerial photograph". Almost like it should be spelled "Erriul".
Shia, I would pronounce "shee-ah". I would only say "Shy-ah" if there was a Y there (Shya).
