I was thinking of doing exactly the same request, with different names. :-)
Madeleine -- "MAD-uh-len" but the middle syllable is barely pronounced. Like Madeleine Albright, Madeleine Carroll and Madeleine Stowe. (However, if it's a French combo, then I say it the French way, "mad-uh-LEN.")
Madeline -- "MAD-uh-line," like the cartoon character. But I do recognize that many people pronounce it as "MAD-uh-lin" and that wouldn't sound out of place to me at all.
Emmeline -- "EM-uh-line," the British way. I grew up watching a lot of BBC dramas, which influence how I pronounce things a lot. I realize the proper, German pronunciation would be "em-uh-LEE-neh," correct?
Caroline -- "CA-ro-line"
Evangeline -- "eh-van-jeh-LEEN"
Erin and Aaron sound the same if I'm not thinking about them, "EHR-in." My niece Erin has a boyfriend and I thought his name was Aaron. When I became self-conscious about how I said them, I started to say Aaron the way my New Yorker dh would, "A-ron," with a short, flat "a" sound. (It turned out his name was Adam. Phew!)
Ember and Amber I pronounced differently. "EM-" and "AM-."
I would say Arielle as "ahr-ee-ELL," but Ariel as "A-ree-ul." But I'm not confident of either one and could slip back and forth easily.
Shia -- was this one on your list? If so, I would pronounce it "SHY-uh." I know a man with this name, but he spells it Shaya.
