[Opinions] Stryker
I know a boy named Stryker. Pronounced like the word striker.
I find this name silly and pretentious. The fact that I know him because we both go to Tae Kwon Do doesn't help either. It just makes me laugh.
And his siblings' names are Madison and Mason, not as kooky but still annoyingly trendy.
WDYT?

Reminds me of the show Friends. Joey played a character on Days of Our Lives named Dr. Drake Ramoray and had an "evil" twin brother named Stryker. It's interesting, but I would never even consider using it.

Sounds like a video game character.

Strytker: Eew. And is Madison a sister or a brother?

Madison is a girl.

I think it is very trendy as well and it makes me think of "strike her" as if he is going to beat a woman. It just sounds violent and overly-masculine. Someone was trying too hard to make him sound like a boy methinks.

That's an awful name IMHO and the typical "y" replacement surgery makes it look as if it's meant for a girl. Madison and Mason aren't horrible (they get points for being spelled correctly), but I wouldn't use either name.
