[Opinions] Yannick
Lately I'm loving the name Yannick for a girl. I find it clashes with a lot of middle names, but Yannick Lucia Rose is one I do like. (I know how critical I am of the mn Rose, lol, but somehow I like it in this combo.) Lucia would be pronounced "loo-SEE-uh". WDYT?
Note* I did a wee bit of research over on the Facts Board, and apparently Yannick is used a female name in France/Belgium … Just a lot less frequently :-)

I prefer Yannick for a boy
I really don't like the name Yannick to start with, too commun... So I really don't like it for a girl either. But, I really like boy names on girls, like Frederique & Tristan... Just not Yannick! lol

Why must all handsome and romantic boy's names go to the girls? What about simply Lucia Rose?
If you like Y-names, I prefer Yasamen, Yelena, Yesenia, Yolanda, Yulia or Ysabel for a girl.
Yannick makes me think of Yannick Noah, a former tennis player, now a pop singer.
"You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I like Yannick for a boy (prefer Yanni) but i think Yannick is way to harsh sounding for a girl. Lucia Rose is nice.

Yannick is nms on either sex, but I find it oddly intriguing. I think Lucia Rose is very pretty, but something about Yannick Lucia Rose seems off. It's hard to describe. The best I can do is to say harshness of the "k" ending of Yannick seems out of place next to the softer sounds of Lucia. Yannick Lydia Rose or Yannick Rose Lucia both sound better to me.
