I like Arkadiy/Arkady in spite of the fact it is my wicked Russian step-grandmother's son's name. It's a good, strong name and I like that it has Greek roots. Arkasha is also very cool. Alexei (and related spellings) has always been a weakness for me, but it seems quite common. So, I think I would have to still lean to Arkadiy.

I love all of the Arcadia-related names! Arkady is great, and he has got many fantastic bearers, like Arkady Strugatsky and Arkady Raikin. Out of the literature, Arkady Kirasnov, the main person in Turgenyev's "Fathers and Sons". Arkasha's fine, although I would personally go with Adya (Adik) and Arkadik, Arik. It can suite boys with any colour of hair. :)

I love Arkadiy/ Arkady/ Arkadi/ Arkadii! I can never decide how to spell it though-- I did a poll once and the results weren't very conclusive (http://www.behindthename.com/polls/view.php?id=135764). I think I prefer Arkady or Arkadii.

My current favourite combo is Simon Arkady, although Bear gave me some really splendid combos a while back (http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=3450593&board=baby). I don't know if I could do much better than her. :D

Arkasha is really cute.

I like Alexei. I would spell it Arkady. The nn is really not my style. But it's not horrible.
