I recently found the name Artemas (male) in the Bible. Paul's mentioned him in his Letter to Titus, he was his companion [I think he is a St. as well]. Artemas can either mean "whole of sound" OR "gift of Artemis".

WDYT of Bram Artemas?

I personally wouldn't use Artemas becasue it's too close to Artemis, a goddess's name. Bram Artemas dosn't sound too bad to me.

I like Artemas. Bram Artemas doesn't have the best flow (I find the M - Art hard to say) but it would work, I suppose. Handsome. I used to date a guy named Artemas, he hated it, went solely by Art.

art-eh-MAS. A bit odd having the stress on the end like that but it worked, for me anyway. I still like the name. :)

Love Artemas! Dislike Bram...just sounds like a random noise to me.

I like Artemas. I like it as a male name. I also like Artemis on a female.

Bram Artemas doesn't flow that well, but they are both nice names in their own right.

Well, I know the female version Artemis is pronounced Arr-tuh-miss. I don't know about Artemas. Perhaps it is the same but it very well could be a completely opposite pronunciation.

I don't like either of the names, but Bram Artemas sounds nice. Artemas Bram sounds better imo.
