I remember this name from "Johnny Tremain". I don't know if there was a small vogue for it in the eighteenth century, or if the author of the book knew it was the name of Paul Revere's daughter, and therefore thought it would make an authentic yet not too common choice for a character in a novel set in the eighteenth century.
I like it, actually. It would make a refreshing alternative to Susannah. I'd like to see a baby Isannah.
