Because my favorite nn for it are Lisa and Bess and I don't see them from Elizabeth spelling.

I don't see how Bess would come more from the Elisabeth spelling than the Elizabeth one, since it's based upon the last syllable, which ends in TH in both of them.

Because in Elisabeth all the letters used in Bess are present. In Elizabeth the nn would be Bez with this logic. It's juts my personal view.
