[Opinions] Aifric
What do you think about the name Aifric (pronounced aff-rik)? I used to watch the TV programme. You can watch it on Youtube if you want to. It's Irish, subtitled in English. Have you ever heard of the name before? What kind of personality would a girl called Aifric have? Any good nicknames (besides Affy)?

Love Aifric. I love the sound, and the way it ties Ireland to the continent of Africa. I know they are not etymologically linked. It's just a mental thing with me. It appeals to the inner "rainbow coalition" in me. :-)Aifric has a very pretty look to it too. I can't think of any nns other than Affy, which is adorable. Ricki, maybe? That's not nearly as cute as Affy, though. Fritz / Frix? :-P

It's a bit too much like Africa, don't you think?

I kind of like it. It's original, it has a good meaning...I could get behind it.I think Affy is actually kind of cute, but Rik or Rikki could be good nicknames if Affy bothers you.I picture a girl named Aifric to be outgoing, outspoken, and a smart-ass (but in a good way).
