It's a beautiful name. I too have only heard it pronounced ta-tee-AN-a. I definitely think it's usable, in that I know a fourteen-year-old Tatyana, although in her case, it's spelled that way. I prefer the Tatiana spelling, myself. I know that sometimes she's called Tatya for short, in that Tatiana IS a bit of a mouthful to say all of the time. But yes, definitely usable.
