[Opinions] Re: How do you pronounce these?
Esmé = ez-MAY, well the "may" part doesn't really make an ay sound, if you know what I mean. It's the sound of a long French é. Hard to explain. I would definitely spell it Esmée for a girl. I'm fluent in French as my mom is from France but it's hard to explain.Amelia - uh-MEEL-yaHelena - HEL-leh-naCassia - CAS-see-ahClementine - CLEM-men-tineLucia - LOO-see-ahKyra - KY-raDahlia - DAH-lee-ahInes - EE-nezKaia - KY-ah, well you say it real fast, so it sounds more like KAH-yaLiadan - no idea, LEER-dan?Mireille - mee-RAYLinnea - linn-NAY-ahCassius - CAS-see-usElias - EH-lee-usMalachi - MUH-la-kyeIvo - EYE-voMatthias - muh-TEE-uhsLouis - loo-EEOisin - OY-sin? to rhyme with poison? no idea.Mordecai - MOHR-deh-kyeTaliesin - TAL-lie-sin?
