[Opinions] Cornelia or Cordelia?
Replies
I'm not terribly fond of either name but I prefer Cordelia. I've used this in a story, set in the early 1900s, with the nickname Cordie.
I love Cordelia nn Delia
Prefer Cordelia
I like Cordelia and hate Cornelia. The D instead of the N makes all the difference. Cornelia starts with the word "corn" which ruins it. I think Nell would be too much of a stretch, Cory is too masculine, Delia is fine.
I agree with you.
I love Cordelia, but dislike Cornelia.
I like Delia (as well as Cora and Cordie/Cordy) as a nickname for Cordelia, but I dislike Cory. I also dislike Nell.

I'm probably in the minority, and I'm biased because Cornelius is a family name for me.
But I can't help being drawn to the strength of Cornelia.
Cordelia is pretty. But Cordelia is a girl, whereas Cornelia is a woman.
My favorite nn for Cornelia is Nell / Nellie or Cora. I don't really care for Cory / Corie.
