I'm starting to like Linda for a girl. Is it too dated to come back? I just think it's kind of sweet and simple at the same time.
I like it as a first name and also as a middle name.

I think it's a pretty name. It would be refreshing to meet a little girl named Linda.

Linda is okay, but it does feel a bit dated still. Out of the two you listed, I like the way Noah Sofia sounds better.

Linda is one of those names that is SO tied to its era that it's difficult to judge it on its own merits. It's so tied to the forties and fifties because it wasn't an established name before then, it blasted out of nowhere to quickly become extremely popular, and then fell out of favor very quickly once the sixties hit. Like Gladys in 1900. You really have to try hard to put yourself back in say, 1940, when Linda was fresh, new, not overused to judge it, and that's very hard to do. I just can't do it, honestly. Every time I try, "Post WWII herd mentality" keeps going through my mind over and over.
I've always felt a little bit of contempt for my mother that she named a baby Linda in 1952, when it was the number one name, to tell you the truth. Talk about a herd mentality and no imagination.
As to whether or not it will ever come back, I don't know. I can't say that I think there's anything ugly or really wrong with it, so I don't think there's any reason not to use it these days, when it's no longer popular. A little Linda would really stand out nowadays.

There's something about the way that they run into each other which makes me not like Noah Linda at all. It's like "No, alinda." I dunno. I might just be on crack (not really though.)
As for the actual name LInda, it's very dated here. Very, very, very dated. I don't know a Linda younger than 40, and I don't want to.
The only nice thing about it is that in Portuguese, "linda" (pronounced leen-da) means pretty, which is kinda sweet.
